Camp CounselorCamp hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday; counselor hours vary due to responsibilities. Position runs from mid June through August 9th. (Subject to change if budget modified). Each counselor hired will participate in mandatory counselor training before the first day of camp. Applicant must pass a First Aid/CPR class and a successful background check. Pay range is minimum wage to $10 per hour. Qualification include one year or more experience working with youth, and be able to work out of doors. November 15, 2012 Montville Parks and Recreation is offering Adult Volleyball for residents of Montville beginning Thursday, November 29th from 6-8 pm at Tyl Middle School Gym. Participation is free and on a drop in basis. Two courts are set up to accommodate players. Players 16 years old and up are eligible. After this initial date the program will meet on Wednesday nights beginning on December 5th until March 6th. Anyone wishing to play will be required to fill out the registration form on site prior to participating.
