The Senior Services Department provides Montville seniors a high quality of life by ensuring access to a wide variety of programs and services through private or governmental resources. This department also raises some of its own funding as a means to increase the level of programs and activities we can offer that provide social, emotional, and physical benefits.
Regular programs include exercise, therapy, a Health Clinic, dance, arts and crafts, music, computer classes, educational workshops, holiday food baskets, food bank, Renters Rebates, Energy Assistance, Food Stamps, Medicare, Medigaps, Managed Care, advocacy, application assistance, living wills, transportation. The Commission on Aging has created an Elderly Resource Guidebook. It is available for Montville seniors 62 and older at the Senior Center and the Town Clerk's office at the Town Hall.
Renters Tax Relief for the Elderly and Totally Disabled questions are answered by the Elderly Assistance Officer and help is available by appointment at the Montville Senior Center.
