 Upcoming Activities

2/26 - Paws-itive Reading Program, 9:30 - 11:30 am.  Children sign up to read to wonderful therapy dogs for 15 minutes.

3/12 - 11:00 am -  Jason Deeble, author and illustrator of Sir Ryan's Quest, will be at the library for about an hour.  The book is the current "One Book For Every Young Child" selection for Southeastern Connecticut libraries.  He will do a demonstration of his illustrations.  We have been told that this is an exceptional program.  All are welcome.

3/26 - 10:30 am - A trainer from the Mystic Aquarium will do a presentation for the children of some of the attractions at the Aquarium.  All children are welcome.

 Tuesday  2 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.
 Wednesday  10:30 a.m. - 11:10 a.m.
 Wednesday  2 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.
 Thursday  10:30 a.m. 11:10 a.m.
Children hear stories and work on age-appropriate crafts each week.

Patrons may borrow books (regular and large print), magazines, audios, and music CDs.  The library has a large Children's Department and many children's videos are available.  Our collections are updated every month with new books, and several times a year we borrow large print books and many audios from the State Library in Willimantic.

Connecticard System, photocopy machine, ILL loan system, and IMac Computers with Internet access are available for use.  The library also participates in a paperback book exchange and Read-Aloud Day.
