Summer Reading

Summer Reading begins Tuesday, July 9 and ends on Saturday, August 17.  Children
of all ages are welcome to participate.  The theme for this year's program is
"Dig Into Reading."  Children read 30 books during the program and win prizes. 
Please sign up at the Library, starting on July 9.

Mr Magic

Mr. Magic will be at the Library on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 AM.  He will do
a one hour show for children of all ages.  The program is free, but we would
appreciate it if you could register with us, either at the Library or by calling
860-848-9943.

Annual Summer Pajama Party

The Annual Summer Pajama party will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 7 - 8 PM. 
Children of all ages are welcome to hear stories, enjoy the entertainment, and
have cookies and milk! 

Food Collection

Starting the first week in November, we will be collecting non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys to donate to the Senior Center.  This will help many families in Montville to have a better Christmas.

Children hear stories and work on age-appropriate crafts each week.


Patrons may borrow audiobooks, music CDs and DVDs books (regular and large print), magazines.  The library has a large Children's Department and many children's videos are available.  Our collections are updated every month with new books, and several times a year we borrow large print books and many audios from the State Library in Willimantic. 

 Connecticard System, photocopy machine, fax, shredder, ILL loan system, and PCs with wireless Internet access are available for use. We have joined Overdrive and EBooks are now available with your Raymond Library card.
