The Summer Reading Program begins on July 1 and ends on August 9.  All Montville
children are welcome to participate and may sign up at the Library beginning
July 1.  Readers are expected to read 5 books a week and will win prizes for 10,
20, and 30 books.  If the children are too young to read, they may be read to.
Reading books for this program will count for their school summer reading as
well.

The annual Pajama Party will be held on Thursday, July 17 from 6:30 - 8:00.  We will have stories, entertainment, and cookies and milk.  Teddy bears and pajamas are always welcome!

The DEEP is presenting a nature program, "In the Woods:  Who's Been Here?"  The program will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m.  Please call the Library to sign up.

Food Collection

Starting the first week in November, we will be collecting non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys to donate to the Senior Center.  This will help many families in Montville to have a better Christmas.

Patrons may borrow audiobooks, music CDs and DVDs books (regular and large print), magazines.  The library has a large Children's Department and many children's videos are available.  Our collections are updated every month with new books, and several times a year we borrow large print books and many audios from the State Library in Willimantic.
