Beginning in the middle of the Thames River at the intersecting point of the Montville/Ledyard and Preston Town line running northerly along the Montville and Preston Town line in the middle of the Thames River to the intersection point of the Montville/Preston and Norwich Town lines; thence westerly along the Montville/Norwich Town line to the Norwich-New London Turnpike (Route 32); thence southerly along the center line of the Norwich-New London Turnpike (Route 32) to the railroad bed of the former Central Vermont Railroad spur line; thence easterly along the railroad bed of the former Central Vermont Railroad spur line to the junction with the New England Central Railroad tracks; thence easterly to the Montville/Ledyard Town line in the middle of the Thames River; thence northerly to the point of origin.
