Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project, I-395 Northbound in Montville

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-395 NB in Montville. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.81 mile segment of I-395 NB in Montville. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur from Sunday, August 17, 2014, through Friday, August 29, 2014. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed from Tuesday, September 2, 2014, through Friday, September 19, 2014. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 Vendor Resurfacing Program. LANE CLOSURE INFO Motorists can expect lane closures on I-395 Northbound between SR 693 (Route 32 Connector) to Exit 79A in Montville. Two State troopers, overhead variable message boards, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday p.m. – Friday a.m.). Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
