When are taxes due?

Tax bills are mailed on June 30, and while due and payable July 1, no late fees are assessed until after July 31. Should the 31st fall on a non-business day, the last day before late fees is the first business day following.

EXAMPLE: July 31 is a Saturday. So that Monday, or August 2nd for this scenario, is the last business day to pay taxes before late penalties are assessed.

Real estate bills can be paid in two installments, with the first due and payable July 1 of each year, and the 2nd half due and payable on January 1.
