By rail, sea, air and over land, Montville is immediately accessible to the largest markets in the country.

By land:

Interstate 395, a North-South connector to Interstate 95 is a primary connector to Boston and New York City.  This highway passes directly through Montville and on the North end connects to Route 2, to Hartford, the Capitol City and also to Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Providence, Hartford, Bridgeport and New Haven are all within an hour's drive.

By rail:

Freight service via the New England Railroad is accessible along the Thames River.  Passenger service via Amtrak is also available in New London, just 15 minutes away.

By air:

By sea:

Just a few minutes down the Thames River in New London, deepwater ship handling capabilities are available at the State Pier.  The Pier provides two berths alongside a 1,000 foot concrete pier.  Vessels with drafts of 35 feet can be accomodated accommodated dry cargo storage warehousing is available.  The port area has also been designated as a foreign Trade Zone.
