Community Investment Fund (CIF) Round 9: Due June 5, 2026 12PM

The State has opened Round 9 and the town is preparing an application(s).  More information will be provided on this page as the application is further organized.

CT DEEP Recreational Trails Program Grant

Building upon the Community Investment Fund (CIF) Route 163 and 32 Study, the Town seeks to advance the Oxoboxo Heritage Multi-use Path & Thames River Blueway System, a project designed to link major affordable, attainable, and market-rate housing areas and commercial hubs with schools, civic facilities, parks, and the Thames River waterfront. This network will allow non-motorized uses and supports tourism, expands recreational opportunities, promotes healthy and active lifestyles, and strengthens the social fabric for users of all ages, abilities, and interests.  The project requests $80,000 with a match comprised of $15,000 Town of Montville Funds and $5,000 in-kind staff time.
