FEMA New DRAFT Mapping Update

New FIRM Maps are being updated by FEMA. The below DRAFT maps are available for public review.

The below draft maps are a compilation of current FEMA mapping with proposed flood limits overlay.  The maps are provided for convenience to assist in evaluating how the changes may impact your property.

READING THE MAPS:  Proposed AE Flood Zone limits are depicted in Green with Floodways delineated by the inner Green line (or coincident with the outer AE Flood Zone); A Flood Zone limits are depicted in Red. Current FEMA limits are depicted as follows: Blue - AE Zones; Brown - A Zones; Red cross hatch - Floodways. Solid white lines are property lines based upon assessor mapping.

Also, FEMA is requesting input related to identifying "changes or corrections to non-technical information, such as corporate limits, road names, and stream name on the FIRM or in the FIS report", which can be download directly from FEMA here.
